10th Annual Banned Books Reading

Location: North Campus Library - Room D101, New Periodical Reading Area

About This Event

Banned Books Week Celebrates Freedom to Read

The North Campus Library will be hosting its 10th annual Banned Books Reading on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 12 to 1 p.m. in the library's new Periodical Reading Area. Banned Books Week brings together the entire book community -- librarians, booksellers, publishers, journalists, teachers, and readers of all types -- in shared support of the freedom to seek and to express ideas, even those some consider unorthodox or unpopular. SUNY Erie students, faculty, staff and the public are all welcome to attend.
