SUNY Erie and Facebook partner to launch Digital Marketing Program

Article by: Paula Sandy

SUNY Erie and Facebook have partnered to launch a digital marketing program. This pilot program is designed to give small business owners, entrepreneurs and non-profits the critical training needed to compete in today’s fast-changing global environment.

The class will introduce students to understand marketing and provide the framework to understand concepts such as segmentation, targeting, propositions and metrics. The course ends with a final project in which students will analyze and create a digital marketing plan for a chosen company.

Instruction will take place in the classroom and online. Classroom instruction will occur on Tuesday evenings at SUNY Erie’s City Campus. The online portion will be held on Thursdays.

The course is offered through SUNY Erie’s Workforce Development department. The SUNY Erie Workforce Development department has been serving Western New York for over 20 years by providing continuing education courses, community education courses, driving programs, and a one-stop career center.

Program will run from June 4-July 25. Scholarships are available. Registration can be completed online at www.ecc.edu/continuing-education.
