  • Welcome to SUNY Erie!

    As a newly accepted student at SUNY Erie, you are invited to participate in New Student Orientation. Orientation will be delivered in an online format and will provide the information, tools, and resources to get started at SUNY Erie to ensure your first semester is successful.

    New and transfer students starting their first semester at SUNY Erie Community College are encouraged to attend New Student Orientation online. You may access your online orientation by visiting https://blackboard.ecc.edu

    To access the New Student Orientation:
    1) Click on 'Local Credentials'
    2) Enter 'orientation' as username.
    3) Enter 'ECC' as password.
    4) Click 'Sign In' click on 'My Courses'
    5) Click on 'New Student Orientation'

    The entire presentation will last approximately twenty-five (25) minutes.

    After you have completed the presentation, you are required to complete a Knowledge Assessment. The assessment wont take long and will verify your attendance. Please click on the Knowledge Assessment link to receive credit for attending New Student Orientation.
