    Connecting and communicating – we are a group of talented professionals responsible for the development of SUNY Erie’s brand messaging, graphic standards, publications and communications. We tell the SUNY Erie story! We write stories, supply website content and design publications to provide leadership for SUNY Erie’s marketing and communications initiatives. We work with clients at all three campuses to develop marketing strategies to help achieve their goals.

    Our award-winning communications and marketing efforts often provide people with their first impression of the college. We offer a full range of creative services to the SUNY Erie community including marketing communications consultation, concept development and graphic design, digital communications and print production.

    Our communications are geared toward the interests of students, faculty and staff. We also work together with clients to provide professional admissions and recruitment pieces. Our goal is to provide timely, accurate and responsive information about a wide range of services at SUNY Erie to ensure that our audiences get the information needed.

    This Week @ SUNY Erie - SUNY Erie issues a weekly staff e-newsletter to update the campus community on College related news, events and accolades. 

    Social Media - SUNY Erie operates an official Facebook page, tweets via @SUNYECC and has a presence on YouTube and Instagram. Before establishing a new presence in one of these areas, we recommend content to be fed to one of our existing social media networks.

    MyECC - MyECC enables students, faculty and staff to obtain resourceful information and services such as SUNY Erie news, events, campus announcements, class schedules, Blackboard and WebAdvisor.

    Digital Signage - SUNY Erie’s digital signage notifies students, faculty and staff about SUNY Erie news and events, improves emergency response and reduces campus clutter. News categories that will be considered for posting include campus activities, athletic schedules, academic updates, achievements and campus news. All messages must be related to SUNY Erie.  

    Print and Design - Our staff is available to help out in the creative process. We collaborate with campus clients to produce brochures, posters, invitations, fliers, digital graphics and promotional items.

    Digital Communications - Our team manages the College's online presence, ensures that college standards are adhered in both words and images, and implements a digital communications strategy college-wide.

    Website - www.ecc.edu is the official website for SUNY Erie.

    Events Calendar - The events calendar can be found on the college’s homepage. 

  • Calendar of Events

    The campuswide events calendar lists faculty, staff and community events. Campus-wide calendar listings are processed by the Marketing and Communications Department. Event listings may be edited for clarity and length. Please allow up to one week for your event to be posted.

    SUNY Erie reserves the right to refuse approval of any submitted content or requests that are not compatible with the College’s image. For event cancellations or change in event information, please submit your change on the ECC Today Submission Form. While we try to accommodate changes up to the last minute, we cannot guarantee corrections or cancellations made with less than three day notice.

    SUNY Erie Digital and Print Publications

    SUNY Erie Course Catalog - Acalog

    The online catalog is an official publication of SUNY Erie that outlines the general operations, curricula, graduation requirements and academic/student services policies currently in effect at the College. Academic and degree programs, policies, fees and calendars are subject to change at any time by SUNY Erie. For the latest information, please contact the Registrar’s Office.

    The college catalog is published in June and December. All updates to college marketing materials are completed once the college catalog is published; i.e. the website and curriculum fliers. Department chairs and heads are responsible for making the changes within Acalog. Changes to curriculum must go through the Collegewide Curriculum Committee and SUNY before they are published in the college catalog. When a new chair is appointed, he/she will receive a username and password to access Acalog. If there are any questions, contact the assistant academic dean.

    SUNY Erie is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104 (267-284-5000). The Middle States Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. The college’s curricula are registered with the New York State Education Department and have been approved through the State University of New York.

  • Staff Procedure for Acalog Course Catalog Revisions

    • Department chairs make online catalog changes submitted through Acalog
    • Executive vice presidents and assistant academic deans approve all submissions
    • Once approved, content is published to Acalog
    • The catalog is published twice a year (June and December)
    • The website is also updated based on revisions made in the newly published catalog and the changes are sent to the Marketing and Communications department
    • Curriculum flyers are updated in the months of July and January from online catalog and then sent to CITS for website implementation
