  • Driver Safety Programs

    Programs focus on each individual driver's responsibility to interact lawfully within the traffic system to create and maintain a safe environment for all drivers. The curricula emphasizes personal accountability, awareness of laws and their impact on the whole community, and are designed specifically for the different needs and types of drivers in the different programs offered.

    Driver Education

    The SUNY Erie Driver Education Program is a comprehensive program. Each student is responsible for attending 24 hours of driving (supervised and assessed by parent/legal guardian) and 24 hours of online lectures.

    Due to Covid, all lectures will be conducted online via WebEx.
    Due to social distancing, driving session will be conducted and assessed by parent/guardian. 
    The college will NOT provide any in-car training.

  • Point/Insurance Reduction Program

    This defensive driving course is voluntary and is open to the public and local businesses. Benefits include a 10 percent reduction on liability and collision insurance and four points off the driving record.
